Salt & pirates

For centuries, the salt lakes were the island’s main source of income. They were also the reason why the island was frequently visited by pirates. Let yourself be transported back in time to the history of salt extraction, where, in addition to white gold, there was also great danger from dangerous pirates who made life difficult for the islanders. See for yourself how the Ibicencos managed to protect themselves against these dangerous invaders.

Diversity

The E-Bike tour – Salt & Soul is a tour full of diversity. The Dutch-speaking guide will take you past low-flying planes, followed by paths lined with vineyards and olive trees. On the E-bikes, you will head towards white beaches and small bays. The nature reserve of Ses Salines is teeming with life. Here you will find a multitude of birds searching for food, including flamingos.
